    Notice for Pre-Can Registration

    We are pleased to announce that with loosened restrictions and availability of ice time we are able to offer a Pre-canskate session. This session will be offered to members only at this time and is limited to 36 skaters.

    There are 3 mandatory requirements for a skater to take part in the Pre-Can-skate program this year.

    THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS:

    CAN-SKATE NEW MEMBER REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 at 6pm

    Skaters will have to have previously been in a Skate Canada program such as Can-skate or Pre-canskate (MUST have passed the Precanskate program) to register for Can-Skate sessions; Maximum number of skaters per session will be lower than previous years due to COVID guidelines.

    Note that any skater that does not show the ability to be unassisted on the ice (can get on and off ice on own, can get up on own if fall down, can move about unassisted) should not register for the program, our coaches are not able to touch t...

  • Registration Update for 2020-2021 Season

    New registrations forms are uploaded to the web site for downloading.

    On-line registration will open:

    • Returning members Intro Star, Jr, Int, Sr only on Aug 26 at 6 pm
    • New members in Intro Star, Junior, Intermediate and Senior on September 1 at 6 pm
    • Associate members on September 3rd at 6 pm
    • Returning Canskate September 9th at 6 pm
    • New Canskate Sept 16th at 6 pm

  • IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR REGISTRATION PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS

    This is a General Note - Please don’t respond if you have already paid – your payment will be posted to your account very soon.

    Please ensure your 25% Initial Payment is Paid – please don’t wait for credits to be applied – this will be done soon. We will be reviewing all payments in next few days and any skater that has not paid the initial 25% payment will not be permitted on the ice starting on September 8.

  • Information on 2020-2021 MPPSC Season

    We are excited to Welcome everyone to the 2020-2021 MPPSC season!

    Sessions will start in early September for Junior to Senior Groups and early October start Intro to Can-Skate.

    We are busy putting everything in place to provide a Fall and Winter schedule in a safe and supported environment. We are waiting on final direction from the rinks and working on “Return to Ice Proposals” which will adhere to the COVID-19 restrictions implemented by the government and municipalities.

    We plan to open on-line registration in late August and hope to have a complete schedule posted soon for Fall and Winter....

  • Refund Policy

    In light of pandemic closures Mount Pearl Paradise Skating Club will provide the following due to missed sessions:

    Precan to Senior Skaters will be given a 70% credit for sessions missed due to COVID-19 at the commencement of the next skating season. For skaters that do not register for next season, further information will be provided during the registration timeframe.
