During this unprecedented time, MPPSC has taken direction from Skate NL with adjustments to programming as we navigate through Covid. We are adhering to the guidelines set out by Public Health and continue to work with Facilities Management, from both the Glacier and Paradise Double Ice Complex, to ensure that health and safety procedures are executed to minimize risk to the staff, coaches, parents, volunteers and skaters.
MPPSC reserves the right at any time to request that a coach, parent, volunteer or skater refrain from the rink if the Club feels that there is potential risk of Covid to the skating community.
If a skater needs to self-isolate through contact tracing or public health guidelines, or if the Club requests that a skater refrain from the rink, the Club is under no obligation to refund the skater for the period of time they are away from the rink.

PRE-CANSKATE REGISTRATION - NEW MEMBERS!!!
We are pleased to announce that we are opening our on-line registration to New Members looking to register in our Pre-canskate session.
On-Line registration will open on Monday, October 5, 2020 starting at 6:30 pm
As of today, there are 9 spots available – Please make sure you have a Family Account set up with MPPSC and have linked your skater and parent/guardian that will be accompanying the skater on the ice;
There are 3 mandatory requirements for a skater to take part in the Pre-Can-skate program this year;
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS:
1. The skater MUST be accompanied on the ice by a parent/guardian that is in their current bubble until coaching staff deem that the skater is able to proceed unassisted. The parent/guardian is there only to provide hands on assistance when required as our coaching staff under current COVID restrictions cannot touch the skaters, however skaters will be put into groups as normal and the lesson is led by a professional coach.
2. The person accompanying the skater MUST wear skates and a CSA approved helmet
3. The person accompanying the skater MUST be the same person each week (we have to register the person with Skate Canada for insurance purposes and we will have a check in desk each week). Once registered, the name of the parent/guardian that will be attending the session will need to be sent to email@example.com for registration with Skate Canada
Session is Saturdays 2:45-3:15 in Paradise and will begin October 17th
